Marc Minter

Marc Minter is the Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church of Diana, TX. Marc began vocational ministry with a mass evangelism group in 2002, and for more than 10 years he traveled across the US and around the world proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. While Marc does enjoy the opportunities such a platform offers, he has a passionate love for the local church. That love for Gospel-centered community brought him to FBC Diana in 2014.

Marc is driven by a love for the Gospel of Christ. Marc truly believes that God changes hearts and lives by the power of the Spirit and through the proclamation of His word. Marc’s pastoral ministry is marked by a deep desire to glorify God through expositional preaching, genuine love, and a prayerful trust in the providential God who saves sinners.

Marc has been married to Cassie since June of 2005, and they have four sons, Micah, Matthias, Moses, and Malachi. Cassie manages the home and leads the boys in homeschool each weekday as part of the Longview Classical Conversations community. Marc is an M.Div. student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a B.A. in Church Ministries and a M.Min. in Church Ministry, with emphases in theology and apologetics.

Chas Carlisle

Chas is the pastor of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas.  He began serving the local church in 2002 as the Worship Leader of a small church in Linden, Texas.  During this time, the church body affirmed a gift of teaching and he began to preach.  After four years, he and his wife, Amy, moved to Ohio to work for the Buckeye Central-Erie Baptist Association and the North American Mission Board as Church Planters.  While in Ohio, they planted Living Stone Community Church and started several Bible studies in neighboring towns.  In 2012, Oak Ridge Baptist Church called Chas as their pastor.

Chas loves teaching and preaching God’s Word.  He is driven by a desire to narrow the gap between the pew and the seminary desk.  His desire is for the people of God to be equipped to properly handle the Word of God.

Chas and Amy have been since August of 2003, and have four children, Emma, Charlie, Caleb, and Levi.  Chas has a B.A. in All-Level Music Education from East Texas Baptist University.  He earned a M.Div. from Liberty University, also studying at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Chas completed a D.Min. in Applied Theology from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017.  The research portion of his project was focused on the Deuteronomic Model for theological instruction and ecclesial subsidiarity.
